DTS Graduation
Finally, we've come to an end of the 6months training in DTS last friday, march 6. It was a wonderful time of praising God for what He has done through us. We celebrated it here in YWAM ATC base together with the recent DTS, SBS, SOE schools. We did presentations tru dances, testimonies and powerpoint presentation showing our different outeach location and ministries.
As of now, I'm having my one week off having self-reflection of the learnings that I got through this DTS and looking forward how to make improvements for future DTS's.
A scripture that keeps coming back that God had spoken to me personally during the school is about the word DISCIPLINE. In Hebrews 12:4-12, it is mentioned that, the LOrd discipline those He loves and punishes everyone he accepts as a son. In verse 7 it was said that HARDSHIPs is part of God's discipline, that is why we have to endure it and we should not loose heart if God rebukes us.
Verse 10 goes " Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at a time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have trained by it".
So our response should be, to endure it. Thank God for it ( v.12--strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees ). God uses people, situations in our lives to accomplish discipleship in us. We should thank and rejoice still in God. Like in philippians 4:4---"rejoice in the Lord always...i will say it again, REJOICE!
No turning back in serving God but keep moving forward until Jesus comes. Glory and praise to His name alone.
God is good!
