DTS July

   One more week and the july batch of DTS will start on the 5th. As of now, we have 15 accepted students and praying for more to come. Actually our goal is to believe for 20 students in this batch.

    We had a 2week staff training in-line with the preparation for this school. During this training, we had a priviledged to have John Parsons speak to us about the importance of building proper foundation in our lives and in the lives of the students that we will be discipling. He mention that most of the times, if the building is big ( like SM ), it takes years to lay the proper foundation for it. It seems also that nothing good or nice is taking place but only digging and proper measuring. And it goes the same with our lives, he added. Somehow God is so picky in us to realign every crook ways in our lives for Him to build good and solid foundation. Nothing pleasant is visible.

    He mentioned about the importance of our knowledge of God's word and the application of it, hearing His voice and obeying Him, holiness and righteousness & Worship ( just of who He is ). These are just some of the proper foundation that has to be established which are not so easy to do w/o the help of God.

    Personally, there are areas in my life that He's re-alignning that seems unpleasant at times but helpful. For me to be more fruitful and effective in His kingdom. And I have to submit myself to it to go through the process. Oooochy, ooouchy. very challenging and uncomfortable.

    This coming week, we'll have some practical works to do in preparing our lecture rooms, dorms for guys and girls, toilets ,etc. We will be needing a lot of physical strength.

    Pray for us continually for this coming 6 months of training in the DTS. We will be needing God's strength, wisdom, provision, a lot of patience and His guidance in every move that we will take.
